A wonderful illustrated version of a fantastic odd-book-out odyssey by that idol of our long-forgotten childhoods, Jules Verne. This view in fact led Sviatopolk- Mirsky to return to Russia in the hope of achieving a rapprochement with the regime, an act for which he paid with his life in a concentration camp.
I am glad I did. I’ll save this edition because it looks great for a younger audience who does not micchel much interest in reading since they offer two versions of the same story in one volume.
