It was fun, full of an impromptu visit to Vegas, scandalous goings on, about misjudging people and Angela royally messing up as usual, but I never laughed so much in a long time! We shared an apartment. I found myself constantly wanting to throttle her to get her act together.
This book was also full of the clichedness you would expect. At first it was heaft little unbearable, but then as you got more engrossed with the plot, you kind of get used to overlooking it.
Also there was some predictability to the plot, for instance you could guess what would happen at the end, but then there were other aspects which caught me completely by surprise and so sort of made up for the predictableness side of things. Lindse Heart Vegas was just the sort of book I needed, after finishing a couple of intense books. It was a light, easy going, funny read. A trip around the supermarket turned into a trial for the aisle.
Every song on my iPod was a contender for the first dance. Every time Alex reached into his coat pocket, my heart stopped — phone or ring? Quite often it was chap stick what a girl. Jul ,indsey, Elle’s Book Blog rated it really liked it Shelves: December 8, Genre: This is NOT a series of standalones, and each book needs to be read in order of publication- otherwise, you’ll be feeling very confused! With that, I adore this series.
I love the journeys that we as readers get to go on with Angela especially for the fact that she makes everything so much fun. And becau Release Date: And because of this, I can’t get enough of this series.
Only a few more books to go until the brand new book in the series releases in September.
In this installment, readers will travel to Vegas with Angela, Jenny, and Sadie. Of course there is a ton of debauchery, a lot of moments where you’ll find yourself giggling, and moments of pure pleasure as you experience some of the best friendships to ever grace a book. But there are also serious moments.
You see, Angela is in a bit of a pickle. She lost her job at the magazine she was working for and if she can’t get another visa either by being a spectacular human being, working, or being married she will be deported! So Angela tries to figure out a way to stay. Even if this means listening to her friends concoct a plan of a marriage of convenience. Good thing Angela is londsey in love. Or things would go vegqs wrong Once again, Kelk gives us a story that will induce laughter and make readers smile.
This is a fabulous installment of the series and I can’t wait to see what adventure Angela goes on next! Should be very interesting to see where she goes from here If you are a fan of chick lit novels, this is a must read series. If you like books by Sophie Kinsella the author of the Shopaholic series this one is similar to that and I think you would like this.
If you have read some of the books in the series and have yet to finish it, you must! I Heart Forever releases in September and you have to be ready for it!!! View all 5 comments. I Heart Vegas (I Heart Series, Book 4) by Lindsey Kelk (Paperback, ) | eBay
If you think Justin Bieber should go to Hell, you don’t deserve a 5-star rating from me. It has been years since I read I Heart Paris. I still remember how fun it was and what mostly happened, but I was afraid I forgot a lot of things. It turned out, If you think Justin Bieber deserves to be in the same circle of Hell as Adolf Hitler, you do not deserve a five-star-rating from me! It turned out, I didn’t have to worry at all.
Lindsey Kelk reminded me about everything important that happened in the last three books and I was right on track. I really enjoyed reading about Angela and Jenny. They are the kind of characters that I like. They are likeable with all of their flawes, they make mistakes and they are aware of that and they want to make things right, even though they sometimes don’t know how. Emotions were a really important part of the story. Here, I don’t think of swoon worthy moments, but of character’s emotions.
I really, really like how the author showed us how emotions sometimes just take over our mind and actions and sometimes, because of them, we can loose control when it comes to our actions. I have read a quite pile of chick-lit in my life and what I learned from my experience is that you can’t be mad if a book is predictable. The actuall thing is, there are more predictable books then unpredictabe ones. This book wasn’t predictable as I expected for it to be. It didn’t have some big A-HA moment, but the plot wan’t going in the direction I tought it would be going, and I’m not going to lie, sometimes I was even afraid of what could happened.
This book is full of popular refrences, hot guys and hot girls, casinos, swimming pools and litres of alcohol. But hey, it’s Vegas! And that’s how Vegas should be, right? View all 8 comments. Dec 07, Anja rated it really liked it. In the fourth part of the series, Angela and her best friend Jenny and some others go on a short trip to Las Vegas.
Angela is slightly worried about her expiring visa, her only chance at staying in New York being marriage, so a few days away in Vegas seems just about the perfect distraction.
Of course, things get a bit out of hand, but what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, right.? Well, no, this was not my favourite part.
First, I don’t like the idea of Las Vegas.

It’s not, that I don’t like In the fourth part of the series, Angela and her best friend Jenny and some others go on a short trip to Las Vegas. It’s not, that I don’t like the city well, I’ve never been there, but would really lindsdy to go one day but the things that happen there. Everyone just thinks it’s okay to do stupid, horrible things, just because it’s Vegas, blah, blah, blah. So that was what I was worried about.
